It may be mid-summer now, but Fall is quickly approaching and that means it's time to start thinking about the little details for your fall wedding.
Fall is a great time for a wedding on Nantucket with the mild weather and quieter island. But it means that a lot of those little wedding details need to be done in between beach days and summer family time.
Gift Bags
One of the easiest things to cross off your list is Wedding Welcome Bags for your wedding party. We offer a large assortment of bag types, fillers, and finishings. We'll even personalize and deliver them for you!
Wedding Favors
Wedding favors are another detail to think about this summer. Nantucket has some wonderful local businesses that make products that are perfect for favors. Consider candles from Grey Lady Candles, chocolate-covered cranberries from Aunt Leah's Fudge, or Nantucket map glasses from HullSpeedDesigns.
Wedding Readings
Finding the perfect wedding reading can take time. Bible verses are classic but there are plenty of other readings to choose from if you want to have some variety. Think about your favorite book quote, song lyrics, or poem, and choose something meaningful for both you and your soon-to-be spouse.
Marriage License
Nantucket has a three-day waiting period for marriage licenses. You'll need to either arrive on island with enough time to apply right before the wedding or make a trip to apply in advance. The license is valid for 60 days after you apply. You'll both need to be there in person with your IDs and other documents and a $50 application fee.
